I've just received all the bits to get my build started and have realised one thing. I ordered a 5m LED strip which is 30 leds per metre. After reading a few posts, it would appear that 60 is better. Is it worth me getting this one built with 30, or do you think I should bit the bullet and order another strip? We're not massive film fans or gamers in this house. For me, it's as much about the build as it is about the result if that makes sense. So, as long as it's not going to look complete rubbish then I'd probably be happy.
Just for reference, I'll be going from a Virgin Media box, into the splitter, into a Pi3B+ and a Samsung 49" 4K curved TV.
My plan is to power the Pi from its own supply and the LEDs from a separate 10a supply running power to each of the 4 LED strips.
