    Hi all,

I've successfully installed an Hyperion setup compose of a raspberry 3, APA102, an HDMI splitter and a grabber.

I tried already two different HDMI splitter hopping to keep the CEC function working, does any of you know an HDMI splitter that support CEC?

Without the splitter I can do the following:
    - turn ON my amplifier and TV when a device start playing (Chromecast, XBox, ...).
    - turn ON my amplifier when the TV is turned ON.
    - change the sound level of my amplifier using the TV remote.
    - turn OFF the amplifier automatically when the TV is turned OFF.
None of that is working with the 2 splitter I tried.

Here is the splitter I've tried:
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1PC...tput-HDMI-1-4a-Supports-Full/32829635502.html
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/HDM...-Support-4Kx2K-Full-HD-1080P/32829523108.html

The second one is described as supporting CEC but it just doesn't.
I've also tried all the HDMI cable I'm using without splitter and they work fine. Using output 1 or 2 gave the same result.

Ever find a good splitter? I'm trying to find one that support [email protected], but I'm having trouble finding one that can do that and supports CEC

Sadly no I didn't, I tried some marked as compatible bit they simply weren't... the seller even sent me another model, but no luck.

Well damn.. I guess we will have to wait for some cheap ones to show up! I have found a couple that advertise support, but they come with about a $100 price tag.

Hey, wanted to let you know I did find splitter that does [email protected] and supports CEC!

    https://www.rocketfishproducts.com/pdp/RF-G1603/5986903
    per the manual:
    https://files.bbystatic.com/lEyO/vvwOpiBeqGxeevf0w==/RF-G1603_-C_17-0190_QSG_V1_EN_Final_lr.pdf

This device passes CEC* commands sent by your components. If you don’t want it to do this, it can be disabled in the device’s menu. See the user guide or contact the manufacturer for more information.

There may be hope! I am probably going to scoop one - if I do I'll report back here

Can you confirm the HDMI CEC supports?
