Error while reading data from host

  • Have RPI Zero Wireless and RPI 3b+

    I can run "rpi_ws281x/python/examples" fine.

After installing hyperion, I have configured a basic config file with no grabber. Running hyperion-remote, I get error "Error while reading data from host".

    "service hyperion status":

    [/INDENT]

If I leave RPI on for 30 minutes or so, hyperion-remote starts working normally.

After I reboot, hyperion-remote gives the same error "Error while reading data from host" again.

After I wait 30+ minutes again, it starts working again.

I have tried on fresh installs on both RPI zero and PRI 3b+. Hyperion does not appear to be reliable so far... (Meanwhile, running "rpi_ws281x/python/examples" examples works fine all while hyperion-remote isn't doing anything).

Is there some process that hasn't started successfully until way later? What's causing the delay?

    Please help.
