I have build an anmbilight and unfortunately I can not continue ...
Maybe someone has some advice for me.

Structure according to div instructions and own electronics Experience - soldered clean.
Led Stipes supplied from both ends with 5V.
Latest Open Elec distribution on a Rasbery PI 2 ModB
The LEDs works. I can control it via HyperConf. Also play the different processes via the iphone app.
Only it remains dark over the grabber ...
Tested on the Amazon Fire stick and a VU + Duo cable receiver box (also tested with minimum resolution of the receiver.)
When reading a screenshot from the grabber I get a completely black picture ...
Have tried to switch from Pal to NTCS - also no success.
Yesterday I tried 2 other distributions (osmc and LibreElec). Same problem.
I also directly connected the source with HDMI on the media converter. There is also only a black picture - but now I can exclude the splinter as a Problem.
With unplugged grabber (usb or svideo plug) I also have a black picture ...
Do you think it's the grabber or the media converter's fault?
