How to make transitions smoother

    Hi guys,


    I've built an Hyperion Ambilight and everything is working fine.
    Only thing that bothers me a bit is that the quick/hard colour changes, e.g. when there are many changes of scenes / camera settings are somehow exhausting for my eyes and do not seem very smooth. I've also had a scene where on the right side was a bush with different shades of green and when the camera moved, the leds seemed to be flackering, because they were constantly changing the shade from light to dark.


    What settings could be changed to smooth that out a little bit?

    I would try lowering the "frameDecimation" to 1 (feeding more images and thus smoothing motions) and maybe check the update rate of your LED. If transitions look a bit "stuttery" it shouldn't have anything to do with the smoothing (its just image smoothing not motion) except for the "updateFrequency" (should be 20 or higher).
