Using Hyperion without HDMI splitter

    Hello. Is it possible to use hyperion without the extra hardware? I want to use it exclusively from my laptop to tv or monitor, so I could have software getting data directly from my computer without the need to get video from HDMI. Is this setup possible? To connect directly from pc to Pi/arduino to LEDs and send image data over usb/ethernet/wifi or whatnot?
