RPi + OSMC VIDIOC_S_INPUT ERROR 71, protocol error

    Until yesterday hyperion was working totally fine, but then suddenly it crashed. I updated the system and now I'm on the latest osmc release with kodi 17.5. If i try to restart it, it crashes again. Disabling the external grabber from the config makes hyperion work again

    did you try a restart? sometimes the usb grabber is buggy...

    sounds like a power error...do you have a powered usb hub?

    I'm also starting to think it is power related. I have a powered usb hub, but it never worked with my hyperion setup. I connected the grabber directly to the Raspberry Pi and it worked fine for months. I guess I have to try buying a new (not chinese) hub. I'll let you know if this will fix the problem (thank you for the support btw :D )

    Hi, the powered usb hub (from anker) is now connected to the Pi and the grabber, do i have to modify any config to make this setup work (I keep getting the VIDIOC_S_INPUT error)?
