Crashes after a few minutes

    I have managed to get hyperion setup and working using 2812b leds and a raspberry pi zero w.


    Everything works fine for a while then it seems to crash and the leds freeze. Only a full power cycle will reset it.

    I have the same problem. Have you settle it?


    My hardware are Pi Zero W, Arduino Uno, 2813 (it like 2812B with 2 wire of control whitch allow to have one dead led).


    My system work about 10 minutes then the raspberry stop working (led on RPI fixed, ssh stop working and hyperion server inaccessible).

    Hyperion is from the CPU usage quite demanding. A small Pi Zero quickly reaches it's limits.

    My opinion is you should used minimum a Pi 3A+.

    I have Hyperion on a PI Zero W with 120 x 2812B LEDs and have no issues at all - working for maybe 3hrs per day. I DO NOT use Arduino. Have you checked obvious things like PSU has enough power, common grounds? MY setup is like this:
