I have bought this usb capture recording (splitter)

my setup is
sound work
laptop or NAS or Rasperry --hdmi out -- to --- hdmi in splitter (link above ) - hdmi out to TV
- from spliter usb out to raspberry - GPI 18 to LED
sound does not work
set-top box from vodafone --hdmi out -- to --- hdmi in splitter - hdmi out to TV
- from splitter usb out to raspberry - GPI 18 to LED
I don't know if I need to buy different , better splitter or problem is different ?
