LED's won't react... help pls

    I'll try to give all the vital information.....

    I'm following this youtube turorial

    and I've already installed on a friends TV and it worked flawlessly. I tried to do the same thing on my TV the only difference being that I have a 75 inch where he had a 55 inch and I'm using 60 LED per meter strips and he had 30 LED per meter strips.


    I've followed everything to the T and Hyperion web config tool is working (green light on the dashboard for Smoothing, Blackbar Detection, USB Capture, and LED device)

    USB Capture card is working because I can see the Live Video under the LED Visualization window

    LED's are working I would assume because when I power everything on they follow the RGB flash in the arduino start up script. But still no response to my videos.


    I've been reading through the wiki and the forums for a day and a half now and am about ready to admit defeat... any advice would be greatly appreciated. I can provide my log if needed but it won't let me post it with this because it puts me over 10,000 characters.

    Are you able to set a simple Color via the „Remote“ Screen in the hyperion UI?

    I was running the code that I got from the tutorial but I figured I would try the code from the official hyperion github... still no luck... went back to the old code and when I tried to change the simple Color via the "Remote" screen I noticed that the LED device is turned off... tried to change it to on but it just turned off again (yesterday it was on all day) not sure what I did to mess that up

    yeah it looks like it was originally sending signal to ttyUSB0 and then after i did the script change it's now sending to ttyAMA0.... I'm gonna start fresh and I'll check in after and update you
