Alpha 10 is out!

    • Offizieller Beitrag

    Hey everyone,

Lord-Grey and Paulchen-Panther did it again!

They pushed Hyperion to the next version with a HUGE of optimizations!

You can find the new Version as always on our Github-Page.

HyperBian is also set up with the latest Hyperion!

IMPORTANT: Due to the rework of the grabbers, both screen- and video grabbers are disabled after the upgrade to the new version.

Please, re-enable the grabber of choice via the UI, validate the configuration and save the setup. The grabber should then restart.

The focus of this release is on user experience.

We tried as much as possible supporting you in getting valid setup done, as well as providing enough room for expert users to tweak configurations here and there.

The reworked dashboard provides you now with the ability to control individual components, jump to key configuration items, as well as to switch between LED instances easily.

The refined color coding in the user-interfaces, helps you to quickly identify instance specific and global configuration items.

Of course, the release brings new features (e.g. USB Capture on Windows), as well as minor enhancements and a good number of fixes.

    Note:

    Changelog:

  • Macht einen guten ersten Eindruck!

Läuft auch wieder auf Dreambox amlogic (ONE/TWO) frisch compiliert in Debian Buster.

    Vielen Dank ans Team!

    Besonders an Lord-Grey und Paulchen-Panther

    EDIT:

    Code
    libGL.so.1
    libX11.so.6
    libGLX.so.0
    libGLdispatch.so.0

Jetzt funktioniert hyperion-ng auch im dreamOS!!!

USB Capture und Framebuffer funktionieren. ;)

    CPU Last ist sehr gering.

  • Die CPU Last liegt bei Einstellungen (1280x720 30, Bildverkleinerung Faktor 1) im dreamOS bei ca.7%!

Mit hyperion (classic) und in Debian Buster bei gleichen Einstellungen bei ca. 45%

  • anyone know if the gui can be set to 1080 on the pi4 yet without the annoying black screens?

UI looks nice and clean, upgrade took 60 secs at the most to remove previous hyperion and install latest, for any other Libre-Elec users out there just follow the install guide

    • Offizieller Beitrag

davieboy It depends on your setup... (which you are not outlining. And yes, LibreElec 10 is not working).

In case you e.g. run rpi4 + Raspberry Pi OS with desktop you can use the Qt Grabber.
Just start hyperiond with the "--desktop" option and you have the screen grabbed (see screenshot for your reference below).

Suggest you try starting via command line first.... in a terminal session opened from the desktop

  • Lord-Grey libre-elec 9.2.6 on a pi4 as per code box above, LE 10 is still way too risky for me :)

ill have a play about but will prolly just leave as is, as on latest Hyperion and everything working as it was before, keep up the good work

Edit: Alpha 10 fixes previous Black screen errors that resulted in havign to set Kodi GUI to 720p
