    Status:

Hyperion working nicely now- latest version. Everything working well functionally.

    Issue faced:

Unable to get good colors for certain cases:

    1. During explosions- more of orange/red than yellow. Yellow is less in general- how to get yellow going?

    2. When not much is happening on screen- standard colors seems to blue n green- how to make it any other shade?

    3. When screen is predominanly white- standard colors seems to same as point no 2: blue n green- how to make it white or off white or gray?

    4. when screen is black, led goes off or becomes dark- this is expected behaviour i presume

Pls point to guides for new GUI on how to get these colors as needed. Still better if some one can point to a good video tutorial i will be greatful.

    Thanks,

    Biyer

  • biyer Glad you got your wiring sorted!

    I'm also facing issue:

    1. bright yellows are more orange/red

    4. is normal, for me anyway

I wonder if I'm experiencing colour issues from usb capture, pclin is looking into my card with me currently

Have a look at my set up...

    I'm running

    1) pi3 hyperbian 9, powered off usb

    2) HDMI video capture, powered off pi

    3) ws2183/60 420 count 7.5m, power looped at both ends.

My led are, data from gpio18 and power straight from a separate block. Need to keep pi close to led though, I Velcro'd it to back of screen

I dumped the ardiuno and everything else, simpified it and it's working great on a 100" screen. Here's a video in action, I will post some on normal TV footage later.

Apart from the yellow all colours are spot on, flesh and all.
