Can I use an LED strip behind my TV an then BR30/PAR30 (ie. recessed lighting bulbs) too?

In general, bulbs must be „smart“ and reachable via Network to work withy Hyperion. Then it depends on the vendor and protocol, if it would work.
You need to be more specific, as BR30 is only defining the physical elements of the bulb, but not it’s „smartness“

yes and most of times these types of bulbs have their own HUB or smart device that steers them,
with Hyperion then you can try to steer the HUB or smart device.
Some bulbs are also without the use of a HUB, most of times they mention this on the box if you can use it with or without the usage of a HUB and/or smart device like your Phone. sometimes even they work just on WIFI ( like mine)
