Cannot lower resolution

  • So i'm running a pi zero W with hyperion on it and I'm still trying to hammer out some of the software kinks since the lights I got were broken lol.


    I'm trying to down scale the image to the pi because I don't need it to run in 1080p, all I need it to do is get color it can go to 720p.


    With that said I cannot downscale it, It is at 1080p and there are no other options to change it. Any suggestions?

    Gabegg Since alpha10 you get the available resolution displayed.
    To reduce the size of the processed image, make use of the "Size Decimation" parameter you just find some items below.

    The screen captured is then divided by "size decimation" to have reduce image image with a proper ratio.

    You configure size decimation = 1 which means you go with the full screen image end-to-end....
    A good starting point is size decimation = 8 (which was also the default....)
