HyperionNG ubuntu 20 adalight Permission denied

I would like to ask for some help about the below service error messages:

Im currently in the process of migrating my old hyperion setup to hyperionNG to a new ubuntu 20 VM using an adalight arduino device connected via USB.
It is connected through ttyACM0, recognized by the webgui.
I installed hyperion with the user ubuntu who has sudo privileges.

If I move back the device to my old ubuntu machine it is working correctly.

What am I missing?
