Hyperion from 2016 seems to be Hypercon, right? No longer supported. Actually version under documentation at the top.

Maybe it could work. But sometimes a RPi2 is too slow for HyperBian aka Hyperion.NG. I would recommend for minimum requirements a 3A+.

Hyperion 2.0.0-alpha.9 works fine on a Pi 2. I upgraded to that from the old Hyperion.
Unfortunately, the alpha versions after 9 don't work so well and cause video stutter.
EDIT: I Just managed to get the latest version working smoothly by tweaking the config manually.
PostRE: Hyperion NG - Video lag/stuttering when DispmanX enabled (Pi 2)
Unfortunately alpha 11 still causes video lag when the grabber is enabled. I tried decimation values between 20-30 and less frequent capture rates but this did not fix it. It does seem better than the last build, but alpha 9 with width 64, height 64 and frequency of 10 works perfectly.jamieburchellOctober 14, 2021 at 11:43 PM
