Ambilight WS2815 & Rasberry pi 3

    I am trying to connect a 12v ws2815 strip to a raspberry pi 3(hyperbian). Unfortunately I am unable to get the strip to light up.The strip is powered by a 12v8a power supply and the raspberry pi by a 5v microusb charger.

    Root access is enabled and dtparam=audio=off.

    I also have no error logs.

    Which further steps should I take in order to troubleshoot the issues ?

    ive just remedied this problem by following drzzzs 2020 video. he gives a couple of instructions that failed because im using hyperbian and hes explaining how to install hyperion on raspibian but in the end i believe the instruction that enable pwn control to hyperion are


    sudo systemctl disable --now hyperiond@pi


    failed for me but


    sudo systemctl enable --hyperiond@root


    this almost instantly turned on my leds as i had spent lots of time making sure it was all set up in hyperion. But now i have an issue of reveresed green and red colours. but the mentioned byte order isnt available
