Will this create much latency?

    Hello, i want to make a simple ambilight setup. I was wondering if these cheap capture cards from AliExpress are any good, and if they create much latency with a raspberry pi 3b. I am also wondering about the ws2812b led strips as i have heard something about them only working with arduino? Sorry if i'm stupid but im new to these things and dont know anything. Thank you for any help i can get. :)

    WS2812b also works directly with hyperion on the RPI. Simple grabbers with a macrosilicon chip work well with the appropriate settings and latency is OK. e.g. WisFox Grabber.

    Loop out grabbers can be problematic because of EDID data, a splitter with EDID settings, e.g. FeinTech or ezcoo, is better.
