Looking for 1080p splitter with CEC

  • I see all the hardware is for 4k HDR support. Is there any cheaper splitter options for us 1080p Tvs, out there?

Mainly use Chromecast and use google voice commands to turn tv on/off/volume, (need CEC support). The Ezcoo is $70canadian.

    Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
    Rullz USB2.0 capture stick
    Splitter: EZCOO ‎EZ-SP12H2PRO (HDCP2.2 & CEC support)
    LEDs: SK6812RGBW-CW

  • Update:
I found (Canada) the Orei HD-102 splitter ($20cad) works with CEC and HDCP for my setup which is 1080P.

I have a Pi 3 A+ (1.4GHz) and Pi Zero 2 W (1GHz), is there any system diagnostics within Hyperion, to test performance? See if the Pi 3 A+ is overkill?

Also along those, is there any reason to use an ESP32 or ESP8266? I have both. Can't the Pi run everything? Have 5m (300leds) of sk6812cw.

  • 5m (300leds) of sk6812cw = ESP32
