Hyperion.NG 2.0.13 is out!

    • Official Post

    Hey everyone,

    version 2.0.13 is released.

Spring-cleaning at Hyperion, we fixed some UI and new reported issues and a lot more, for more details see changelog.

If you have installed hyperion.ng via our apt-repo you can update it with:

    Code
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install hyperion

As backups are ALWAYS a good choice:

PLEASE BE PATIENT AND MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE UPGRADING! MAYBE YOUR CONFIG WILL NOT CORRECTLY MIGRATED!!

    Changelog:

  • Good afternoon.

I have an LG TV with root. The TV is set to capture via PicCap. The address of the Raspberry with HiperionNG installed is listed in PicCap. How to set up capture by HiperionNG itself?

    Thank you.

  • If the IP address of the RPI and port 19400 are set in PicCap, you usually don't have to set anything else in Hyperion. Under 'Remote Control' you should then see 'webos Flatbuffers server 150' under 'Source selection'. There may be cases where the priority has to be changed at priority 150, e.g. with HomeAutomation that accesses Hyperion in parallel.

With 'Settings level' 'Expert' you can also see under 'System' 'Log' 'Log-Level' 'Debug' whether the FlatbuffersServer is displayed.

    regards pclin
