RE: LEDs not working on Archlinux x86_64 with Framebuffer Screen Capture
Yes, I also decided to going with solution stiw47 to uucp group instead to creating some udev rule that stiw47 always being owner of ttyUSB0.

There was a issue where the ttyUSB0 had a permissions issue for a user cause it was just on root.
I have the exact same issue.
kodi@kodi-mediacentre:~$ ls -al /dev/ttyACM0
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 0 Jun 9 06:13 /dev/ttyACM0
i have taken then the user kodi and moved it into the dialout group
dialout:x:20:kodi
But when i do the command ls -al /dev/ttyACM0 the user kodi is stil no there.
I then did and it worked but if i restart im back to root
kodi@kodi-mediacentre:~$ ls -al /dev/ttyACM0
crw-rw---- 1 kodi dialout 166, 0 Jun 9 06:13 /dev/ttyACM0
any linux gurus that can help me out?
