Capture card issues

Hello Folks!

Since a week Im facing issues with capture card.
Gets hot and hyperion loses connection with it.
Still got picture on my tv but no actice leds what so ever.

Thank You, but. Do I need the splitter if for all hdmi inputs I use Onkyo av receiver?
