Wireless Information Transfer to WLED Devices

I would love to see it integrated where you could have hyperion and WLED devices in the same room communicate. That way you can set up spacing from tv to other devices, and have hyperion send the color information for portions of the TV to the other device as well to extend the ambient lighting across wifi, and to WLED devices. Another bonus would be to some how make it that when you turn off your tv backlighting with the hyperion website, it would set the WLED's back to whatever they were previously using as a preset from the WLED controller. Now, I don't know any coding language. So I have no idea how hard this would be to do, so maybe I'm just dreaming fantasies here. Would love to know how realistic or unrealistic this is.
