So I have been digging around the Google's for a couple days now and I can't find anything, so I'm probably SOL, but...
I have a couple of Android TV boxes that I flashed with Debian for various other projects.
How can I use them for a ambilight set-up?
I want to get the signal through the HDMI port and then control the LEDs with the USB port.
But I can't find any instructions for hooking the LEDs up to a USB other than for power. I want to use an external power source for the LEDs because I'm putting this on a 77" TV.
Will hyperion read from the HDMI?
And what do I need to buy to connect my LED to USB?
I was thinking about going WLED for control but that just means another box which I would like to avoid if possible.
