Hello there!
I'm a newbie at Linux and RPi in general. Due to the current chip shortage, I've chosen to use a LibreComptuer le Potato (aml-s905x-cc) to run my ambilight setup using Hyperion.
In theory, this board is a clone of a Pi3, so I tried flashing Hyperbian to the SD card. It doesn't boot so that's out of the question.
Next, I flashed my board's LibreELEC (LibreELEC-AMLGX.arm-11.0.1-lepotato.img.gz) from their official website. I boot into KODI no problem. From the add-ons page, I installed Hyperion.
I then tried to set up Hyperion using Hypercon through SSH. I connect with the board without problem, however as soon as I try to send commands to it I get the error message "Critical Error: CPU information does not match any known releases -> abort".
Is there any way to make Hyperion work on La Potato? Or should I use another OS and method?
Thanks a lot!
