help with usb capture device

i have hyperion running on a atopnuc mini pc running ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS. Hyperion sees my WLED and blinks my lights, but hyperion isn't seeing my usb capture device. when I do lsusb I can see the device:

new to this, so not sure how to proceed.

there is no drop down option for any device. I don't even have an option for custom options

v4l2-ctl --all gave me error saying not installed.

installed it and now everything is working.
