Recommended HDMI Splitter for Apple TV?

Hi everyone!

I recently setup my first Hyperion ambilight. Everything works great when running through my PC or Google Chromecast.

However, I'm unable to use my Apple TV, because the HDMI splitter I bought doesn't seem to support it. When the Apple TV turns on, the TV with flash with the Apple logo for a moment and then switch between "No signal" and static. The lights will also flicker on and off.

I've narrowed this down to the splitter because the lights work if the Apple TV is plugged directly into my Raspberry Pi capture card. But I need to split the signal between my TV and Pi.

Any recommended HDMI splitters for Apple TV? I have the Apple TV HD (not the 4K). I tried searching the forum but I had little success. I am in Canada, so preferably looking for a splitter available here.

If anybody finds this later, I ended up getting an ezcoo 4K HDMI 2.0 splitter 1x2 off Amazon for $30. Works flawlessly!
