December 1, 2024 at 5:49 PM #1 Hello, I hope you're all feeling great !I want to use hyperion to make ambilight to my ubuntu machine on Ubuntu 24.04 and I use a Samsung G9 Odyssey.I was wondering If it was possible to use it without raspberry pi and HDMI splitter etc. Just by connecting our pc directly to the led band via maybe USB or a dongle USB to SPI, I have no idea.If it is possible can you help me on which hardware should I choose for doing that ? Like which led strip and/or dongle should I use ?If not what would be the best way to do it ? Thank you in advance and thanks to all the community for this awesome tool !

For external sources you need a splitter and USB grabber.Output hardware e.g. ESP with WLED and many other controllers that receive data from Hyperion via network or USB.LED strip HD107S or SK6812 RGBWregards pclin
