JSON commands for smoothing parameters

  • I installed 1856 about one week ago. The last commits were two days ago. So no i not have the latest commits.

But beacause the pr is closed now and the script wont install closed ones i can not install the latest version of pr1856 again.

Marxon I updated the install script for you that artifacts from a run_id can be downloaded (if exist), even if the PR is closed.

    Execute the following:

    wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hyperion-project/hyperion.ng/master/bin/scripts/install_pr.sh | bash -s -- -t TOKEN -r 14691952783 1856

This is the latest build of the PR before merging.

For future cases, you find the run-id here:

  • Ok. Good to know.

I installed the latest build of PR1856 but unfortunately this didn't solve my issue from post #18.

It's not a big deal for me because i hardly use this app anymore.

    Just for noticing.

Marxon Thanks for sharing the finding!

I digged out an old Lineage OS Android phone and confirmed that the app relies on a running instance number 0.

I did an backward compatibility update, that the first running instance will be used (when no instance was provided nor switched to before). Now the app works again!

Note: If one would stop instance 0 in a multi instance setup, the app would show it is working against instance 0 (as it assumes 0 always runs - as it was in the past).
If one switches instances in the app, updates and display are in sync. after the first switch.

I did a API - Downward compatibility PR #1860 where everybody could load the latest development build for testing.

  • Great! It's working again!

Semms it has been only a small issue, guess? ;)

About 50 lines of code edited on the fly... 8|

I wish i had such coding skills ;(

  • Hi again!

    Issue to check:

Exporting configuration does not work proberly anymore.

JSON file is cut after "uuid" string and this error occurs:

    Best regards

Marxon I fixed the issue and updated the PR.
As usual... you clean-up one thing and create another issue....

Please do further testing and share findings. This is well appreciated.

    Hi

    Thank you!

Seems that the Export issue is OK, but there is another issue....

    I did some additional corrections.

Looks like the PR download script has now an issue too.
Please provided the latest run-id (14763938883) to get the latest build from today

    Thanks for validating that quickly!

I think I might need to rework the UI integration a bit having it in line with the clean API.

I will report back, when I have something available.

Marxon I did further updates and fixes via PR1860. I tried to do more tests this time, but would be really great, if you would try the PR build. Others just do other things and you proved to spot issues well before :)

In the PR description you find a high-level overview of changes done.

  • Hi again!

Sorry i was busy the last days.

But it seems you have been quiet diligent.

Just installed your latest version of pr1860.

Until now everything is working flawlessly.
