Dominant Color all Leds

    Hi,


    i would like to use the dominant color feature rather then the average color per picture for all my leds. i can only set dominant color per led (not all leds) right now.

    I know i can configure the picture area per led to match the whole screen but i like it simple.


    Example: Jungel Scene, dominant color green, all leds light green


    i cant do that with average color cause it changes a lot depending on whats going on in the scene.

    for me the mean color applied to all leds mode archives exactly what you want. :/

    I tried various scenes:

    Underwater scene, all leds blue.

    Desert scene, all leds orange.

    Space scene, all leds black.

    Woods scene, all leds green.

    The led color changes only if most of the screen color does it too.

    You can try to increase the smoothing time to reduce distraction.

    Hey, thanks for your feedback. I think the Processing is different. Example night scene, shoud be all leds off if most of the Screen ist dark/black. But average color will mix the black/dark part with the rest of the colors (like people or starship) = leds are grey or dark white.


    Next example, Wood Scene with a lake. You would expect all leds Green, but average color will mix the green with the Lake color and Change the green to something like Brown or grey...


    Dominant color wont Mix the colors i guess.

    i did some further tests with it and have to agree your objections.

    Depending the scene the differences between the modes are more or less noticible but they really excist.

    Thanks for your feedback. I cant try the new build because it wont start the webui under windows. I needed to install the debug ucrtbased.dll also.
