Custom LED sorting in layout?

  • Hey guys,
I designed my first WLED project around SignalRGB but the toll on my GPU was too high and I switched to your super nice project hyperion.

Because its my first project I soldered two stripes into the square behind my TV. So its left > top and bottom > right over one WLED ESP32 controller.
Now I have the problem that I dont get the stripes to match in the classic layout mode. is there a possibility to rotate single stripes like I saw in a HyperHDR screenshot.context.jpg

I would really like to avoid desoldering the stripe and changing its direction into a single big stripe(did not know better back then)

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi Georodin,

of course you can do that! :)

You just have to adjust input position (starting point), gap position and gap length.

Here i made an example for you:

If you have less leds on bottom than top (because of the gap) you have to

decrease the bottom leds count (bottom leds = top leds - gap length)

    Best regards

  • Hey thank you for your quick reply and support.
Worked, had to reverse one of the stripes in the WLED setup and increase the corner % to like 4%.
    Thank you again
