3 Grabbers tested, yet LEDs don't turn on (contains links)

Hello everyone. I've been learning how to set up ambilight LEDs to work with my Xbox Series X, Switch 2, future PS5, and some laptop movies here and there. I want to play on the highest settings available while still enjoying ambilight capability.

I'm ok with the fact that HDR or Dolby Atmos may not work with ambilight, but I tried to buy devices with that in mind anyway.

I've bought 3 separate capture cards and they won't capture my Nintendo Switch nor my Tablet video through Hyperion.

I saw a thread on here with a similar problem. But this card doesn't ship to my country.

I've tested with my Switch first, and then with my tablet, and both with the splitter and without the splitter. Hyperion can recognize the capture cards but that never translates to LED tracking. When I click Live Video feed, I have never seen an output mirroring the content I want captured.

Using a RaspberryPi 3A+

I saw a list of approved grabbers. Which one should I buy next? I think I should wait before I pick another one.

I am able to ship the Mirabox HSV321 and the MS2130k from ali express. I just don't want to be dissapointed again

Lord-Grey I would like to try this fix on the weekend, but as shown in one of my photos my live feed isn't black. it just doesn't show a picture at all, just the grey backround. is this really the fix?

I think I finally got this to work thanks to your default settings fix. All of a sudden the lights switched on and started reacting to the screen.

I can see my Mario Kart game in the live view now as well.

I thought I'd be jumping around the room but instead I'm in a state of disbelief lol.

The colors don't exactly match and there's a bit of a delay between picture and light reaction, but I'm glad these are now the least of my problems 😁.

Yeah I was able to fix that. I've been fine tuning all night, having lots of fun. Thanks again for the fix

Side note: does hyperion have some kind of schedule feature? I like it when my lights turn on in the evening
