Black image on Hyperion live view | RPI 5 + Ugreen usb hdmi video capturd card,

Hey everyone,

I have the following setup
Chromecast 4k into an HDMI splitter (1-in 2-out), that support up to 8k 60hz
One HDMI into a 4k Samsung tv, works just fine including CEC
The other HDMI goes into a UGREEN USB HDMI capture card (model: CM489), it goes into a raspberry pi 5 (4gb) with Hyperion

On Hyperion the USB is recognized but only shows a black image in the live view, I tried almost all the settings but still the same.

Things I tried:
- Lowering the Chromecast resolution to 1080p 30hz
- Connected the USB into a laptop with OBS, managed to capture the image with no issues (MJPEG, 1920x1080, 30fps)
- Changed the USB power settings on the PI (set usb_max_current_enable to 1)
- Took an image from the pi (tried a few jpg and yuyv, both jpg could not be viewed, possibly corrupt, the yuyv showed a black image as well

I am not sure what else to try, any advice would be helpful!

Doing this solved the video capturing issue, thank you!
The only issue I face now, is that when there is no data, I get a rainbow screen like the one below.

I assume it's the USB doings?
