i think you cant, you need a instance per wled/ ledstrip.
then in Hyperion.NG you can alter the starting point of the physical ledstrip in the software at leddevice menu.
in wled you can alter which leds you want to use with startled and how much leds.
those 2 needs to blend together, the leddevice programming and the wled settings
then each wled module you can program in Hyperion.NG with grabber on USB port. you have to switch that setting on with each instance
When using WLED with two segment and would would like to run this as a logical one, configure WLED without segments in Hyperion.
Then Hyperion sees the total sum of LED.
Via the layout you can define the positions for the LEDs. You might need to configure Strip 1 and Strip two independently and then merge the generated JSON output manually.
That depends on your layout.

Simpler and more options.
Often, for example, different brightness levels or different values for horizontal LED depth or vertical LED depth are needed.
