    Hallo zusammen, ich habe mir einen neuen TV gegönnt. Dank der neuen Root-Möglichkeit kann PICAP auf dem neuesten webOS betrieben werden. Ich möchte nun Ambilight einrichten. Mein TV hat allerdings nur einen Abstand von 1,5 cm zur Wand. Mir ist bewusst, dass es schwierig bis unmöglich sein wird, etwas Gescheites zu installieren. Hat jemand schon einmal so eine Installation durchgeführt? Ich könnte einen Slim-Diffusor mit 0,52 cm nutzen, ob das aber etwas bringt, wage ich zu bezweifeln. Für Tipps wäre ich sehr dankbar.

    1,5 cm ist für die 'normale' Ausrichtung der LED recht wenig.

    Dann kommt es noch darauf an wie weit die LED vom Rand entfernt sind.

    Ist also schon sehr ähnlich wie bei einem Leinwand Frame der direkt auf der Wand sitzt, oder auch ein TV der keine Wand dahinter hat.

    Es ist in dem Fall also ratsam nicht die 'normale Ausrichtung zu verwenden.

    Am besten wäre 45 bis sogar 90 Grad. LED auf z.B. einen Aluwinkel montieren, Aluprofile gibt es für LED Montage in verschiedenen Winkeln.

    Using tilted aluminium profile for LEDs?

    Has anyone tried to mount LED stripe within 45 degree aluminium profile?

    I was thinking a bit about how to mount the LEDs behind the TV. If just glued to the back of TV, half of the light is lost (by illuminating behind the TV), while the alu profile would direct the light out.

    What I am a bit worried is that the LEDs would form light spots on the wall, which can be then fixed with light dispersing plastic front.

    The profiles are around 6 euros / meter so the expense is not really relevant.

    In deinem Fall (15mm) bleibt aber eigentlich nur die Möglichkeit wie auf dem Foto.

    15 mm Kabelkanal darauf die LED kleben, einen Rand von min. 5cm zum TV lassen.

    Den Rahmen z.B. wie ein Bild hinter den TV an die Wand hängen in den Fotos ist der Rahmen über VESA montiert.

    Das gibt einen sehr guten Effekt mit sehr viel Helligkeit.
