LG and their evil spy TVs

    I haven't been active for a while but with the following in mind, I thought I need to do a post.

    I am privacy focused and I always thought cutting the TV from accessing the internet is enough...
    But it seems not to be so - even having the TV in a dedicated IoT VLAN is not sufficient.
    LGs multiple ways of sending back ACR data home is really evil.

    And I am thinking about going back from grabbing video via PicCap to something else.

    I just wanted to bring this up here for information - I don't want to start an aluminium hat discussion.
    Just for those who plan to use Hyperion-NG and PicCap on LG -> be aware
