Sorry , it doesn't work with the new file.
I switched the TV off , but the LEDs leaves on with rainbow colours.
Well...what can I say, it works here.
When I press on or off on the Hyperion app, only the message clear appears, but the LEDs stay on
or what do you mean
@sand04 Just that we are on the same Page... With Hyperion App are you referred to a mobile App or Hyperion‘s Web UI?
You need to use the UI.
If this does not work, please provide details about your installation
system->about
Plus a log in debug mode
system->log
suggest you enable the debug log,
Then disable the led-device and enable it again via the remote-control page
Then share the log output.
i am an absolute rooki ,mean you this Web Ui
Are you running hyperion classic or Hyperion NG?
All comments are in relation to Hyperion NG. Classic is not supported any longer.

Looking at the screenshot, it looks like it is the old hyperion...

No you can not just do an update.
You have to start from scratch.
But Hyperion.NG is much much more user friendly to configure thanks to the Web-UI.
First question is : where is your Hyperion currently installed ? on a Pi ?
Does the Pi only runs Hyperion or is there anything else running on it ?
ok
it was a complete system from insanelight , with raspberrypi3 , leds and and .......
currently i only use it for ambilight , but maybe other projects should be installed
Well I can see from a post on the previous page that your Pi is running Raspbian Jessie.
I can't be of any help with this because I'm not versed at all into Linux...
Maybe @Lord-Grey could help you to switch to Hyperion.NG ?
Sorry to resurrect an old post, but I had a question about your physical setup.
My goal would be to plug my Roku Ultra Into my Denon AVR, into an HDMI splitter with CEC out both sides:
I found this one: Splitter TESmart Support Compatible Blu Ray
I want to run the onside to my TV, the other to the USB video grabber plugged into the raspberrypi which would have nodemcu or arduino for my led controller.
This is where I get confused, does CEC pass through the USB Video Grabber into the RaspberryPi?

Hi,
No, as mentionned in the first post, you need to plug an HDMI cable from the TV to the Pi.
