So sorry Brindosch, I'm agree with you, the Windows Grabber works like a charm with the scaling at 100%.
I have a Dell XPS 15 with a 4K Display, it so difficult see the icons with the scaling at 100% but it works, thank so much, I hope that this could be implemented in the next releases 
@nash Yeah it's something high on the list to fix, bit busy on another project but once that settles down a bit and hasn't been fixed yet will see if we can start working on solution

Thank you very much @Rick164 your work is awesome and this project/software could be brilliant working with Gigabit Ethernet or WiFi AC, in the future I hope that Raspberry would implement Gigabit Ethernet or WiFi AC technology for better network speed, so this project is the future!

I moving over from linux to windows, what exactly do i need for hyperion to work? just this setup or still some base hyperion install? and do we still need the hyperion kodi addon? ty
For this you only need a basis Hyperion install with protobuffer port enabled in its config (is by default), then install the latest windows client from here:

Nowadays has a setup window so you can fill in your Hyperion IP / Hostname etc.. and it should work ootb, only issue when you use > 100% desktop scaling in Windows.

Thaks for the explanation. So I do need an raspberry with Linux and a working hyperion install right? To bad hyperion doesnt have an windows daemon like ambibox or pristmatik. Altough i coupdnt find it, do you know if In future this might be happening? I found that boblight has an windows daemon. But hyperion is the best. Any way Ayer all I'll proberly stick to linux bases htpc so I don't need to regomfigure kodi and the ambilight driven sodtware

I have built upon the Windows Grabber to add support for DirectX 11. It works nicely even at 4K resolution.

i found a error in the gui...see picture...
also a very stupid question... maybe u can help..
im running hyperion service on windows 10 ubuntu sub system
on the same machine i want to use your Windows grabber..
im not sure what ip i should use inside the grabber setup...
does it needs the ip where the hyperion service runs on?
do i also need to change somethign in the hypercon?
i couldnt found any tutorials or information...
