Bump old thread..
i have this setup and used it to my nvidia shield but i want to use hyperion instead.
i have cut the data cable and inside is a red and white cable.
should i just presume the white cable is the data cable and connect it to my pi?
and what is the red cable?
i rather not unmount my tv from the wall to figure it out
