from what i understood they don't recommend hyper hdr without a level shifter, and i'ts been 4-5 days i try to find a correct pinout and a good explanation with esp32 + level shiter : it's not clear at all (the wiki is really poor on plans) and very complicate. i'm using apa102 and there is nothing explaned

maybe you should try an easiest way by installing hyperdebian , i'm not a fan of the electric options the guy made but look this tutorial :

hi, powering rasberry via GPIO is not really recommended because there is no electrical protection (no regulation and no overcurrent)

if I were you i would use a wire from usb-c to your power supply

are you using WS2812 les strip? if yes wiring should be like picture (resistor is optional)

or maybe try a logic level converter (see 2nd picture) if wiring is too long

time has passed and hdmi 2.1 is here.

now grabbers are hdmi to usb (mine was the old with RCA connectors) , wich one is good?

are there hdmi 2.1 splitters compliants hdr, dolbyvision .... except this one?

je suis tombé par hasard sur un post des allemands, à priori ils utilisent des cartes de captures 4k usb 3.0

il y en a qui ont soudé aux 4 coins , je ne suis pas sûr que ce soit indispensable, mais vu la longueur 2 points d'alimentation sont le minimum

tu peux raccorder sur le point que tu veux, inutile de couper.
ma bande ne fait pas le tour complet du coup j'ai soudé aux 2 extrémités le +5V et GND

dans ce style :

je penche pour un cas typique de manque de jus,
j'ai cablé sur 2 points mon bandeau, si tu n'alimente que d'un seul coté en "bout de ligne" il n'y a plus de puissance

impec, j'ai les fils longs aussi d’où un level shifter.

ensuite j'ai le linear smoothing à 200ms et j'ai mis 25hz pour la frequence

tu as utilisé l'intégralité des 5m?
j'ai des APA102 aussi et mine de rien ça pompe méchant 18W par mètre de mémoire
18W x5m = 90W
90W / 5V = 18A

plein pot : ton alim elle suit pas

-1st output goes to tv
- 2nd output goes to raspberry (hdmi converter, utv007 ...)

i'm using a denon AVR-X2200W, works like a charm, but i have a full hd plama 50"
