    Hi guys,

as in the subject, is there an easy way to check if LEDS are in use?
I'm thinking about adding a relay that would switch off my power supply when LEDS are not used.

This relay would be controlled by RPi GPIO by a python script, that would be checking whether there is any "action" on LEDS for more than 5 seconds. If not then switch off PSU.

    Is this even possible?

Right now when there is low power consumption, my PSU generates noticeable noise which sometimes is quite annoying :/

    Hi,
I think I have the same issue.
When hyperion starts, white color in video is shown as pink, when I make a slight change in color calibration in HyperCon in any field related to color, white color is properly shown, although this doesn't work when change is made via Android app. Appropriate hyperion-remote command also doesn't change anything.

BTW. I've noticed that when I wan't to lower down the luminance gain (i.e. from 1 to 0.5) white color becomes more and more pink'ish with each decrease. When change is made via Android App (Value gain in HSV), this seems to work properly

On the other hand white is displayed properly when watching images.

    Is there any known solution?

    hi @abrenoch
    my script looks like this

    I'm using OSMC

Hi guys, as instructed I'm opening a separate tread with my question.

I use currently ws2812b leds with PWM ws281x drive on my RPi2 actually with no bigger issues.
However a new SPI drive for PWM leds has been introduced recently in the newest version of Hyperion.

So taking that into consideration should I be interested in it?

Is it somehow better? Which pin should I use?

Cheers and congratulations for a great job guys :)
