Ok, so for anyone interested in this, the problem really was in capture card from UGREEN. I ordered this from AliExpress with the right chip and everything works ok, so no settings and no problematic content on Shield as I expected.

thanks for answer. But isn't it strange that is stops capturing only after being plugged behind splitter? There's no change in settings on shield and there is no special content, as it doesn't show even the menu. Content should be irrelevant in my case as I am not using Netflix or any other service, just KODI. Anyway as I said, even the Shield's Android TV menu is not being captured when splitter is in between, but everything is fine when connected directly.

I was digging through the forum and found that some people are having problems with Actions Micro, which is unfortunately my case as it seems, but then again, wouldn't the problem occur even for direct connection? Thank you

Hi guys,

I am quite new to the world of hyperion so I would really appreciate your knowledge.
My setup is following:
Nvidia Shield TV

HDMI Splitter

UGREEN Capture card

Hyperion is running in docker on RaspberryPi 4

If I connect the Shield directly to the UGREEN capture card, I see a live image in Hyperion, but when I do the same through a splitter, I only see a black screen. Do you have any idea how to solve this? Thanks.
