As far as I know, there are reports here on the board that it works with the Ezcoo 120 Hz
What works with the Ezcoo 120Hz? A simple grabber like https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B0B7DSPPNX?tag=hyperioforum-21 ?
I can't be the only one who's trying to get 120Hz to work. And i will report back, after i know what hardware to buy.
And for that i hoped to get some advice. I want to avoid buying splitter/capture card after splitter/capture card.I''ve been digging trough all search results of "120hz", and getting wiser every thread haha, but the right choice is still uncertain.

medapayne did you found the right hardware for 120Hz in the meantime?
-
Thank you pclin, but I’m looking for 4K 120Hz input and output 1 support, and 1080p 60Hz for output 2.
At least, that’s what I think I need if I want 120Hz support. Or am I missing something?

Thanks for your quick response, maybe i should have formulated my question differantly. Can this https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B0C739QQ4Q?tag=hyperioforum-21 output 4K 120Hz on output 1, and 1080p 60Hz on output 2? And if not, can you advice me a splitter/scaler that can do that?

Hi everyone,
I'm researching hardware for a new hyperion setup, and i'd like to have 120Hz support, and i came across this https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B0C739QQ4Q?tag=hyperioforum-21&&smid=A9MU9JXBQM05V&psc=1 .
If i understand correctly, the scaler will output the same Hz as the input, so output 1 will be the same as the input, and output 2 will be 1080p 120Hz.
Does that mean that i need a capture card that supports 1080p 120hz as well? Or will a https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B0B7DSPPNX?tag=hyperioforum-21 be fine too?
I also read alot about HDR to SDR enhancement, it that a default functionality on every splitter/scaler with HDR support?
Or more specifically, does this https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B0C739QQ4Q?tag=hyperioforum-21&&smid=A9MU9JXBQM05V&psc=1 have that functionality? And if not, HyperHDR will be able to solve this right?Hope anyone can help me out.
Thank you!

3. pclin, if i read it correct, the https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B0C739QQ4Q?tag=hyperioforum-21&&smid=A9MU9JXBQM05V&psc=1 has HDR support, does that also mean it enhances it to SDR? And if not, this won't this be a problem if i use HyperHDR right?
4. What isn't clear to me yet, is if i need a capture card that supports 1080p 120hz as well then. Because if I understand correctly, if i set the Ezcoo splitter on 4K 120hz, output 2 will be 1080p 120hz. Or should a HDMI adapter USB HDMI adapter Videostreaming Video opname Uitzending be fine too?pclin, do you have an answer on these 2 questions?
Thank you! -
Anyone have a answer on my questions 3, 4 and 5? Would be much appreciated!

Hi Anodize
How is the Ezcoo 120hz splitter working out? Do you still have 120hz between your devices? And no problems with HDR? Also curious about the capture card, does that support 120hz too?
-
Do you have a update on the hardware choices you made? I'm curious about your 120hz splitter choice.

1. If I start with a new setup I would prefer 120hz support, also for future devices, my PS5 already supports 120hz. So i think i'll go with the https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B0C739QQ4Q?tag=hyperioforum-21&smid=A9MU9JXBQM05V&psc=1 .
2. Other question, i can still use different remotes with this setup right? For example i can still use my Apple TV remote to change the volume of the Denon?
3. pclin, if i read it correct, the https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B0C739QQ4Q?tag=hyperioforum-21&smid=A9MU9JXBQM05V&psc=1 has HDR support, does that also mean it enhances it to SDR? And if not, this won't this be a problem if i use HyperHDR right?
4. What isn't clear to me yet, is if i need a capture card that supports 1080p 120hz as well then. Because if I understand correctly, if i set the Ezcoo splitter on 4K 120hz, output 2 will be 1080p 120hz. Or should a HDMI adapter USB HDMI adapter Videostreaming Video opname Uitzending be fine too?
5. Thank you for the tip on the LED-strip, i'll change my choice to the HD107S, can you tell me the width in mm of this strip? Than i can also order the correct L corner pieces.
6. I'll go for the Mean Well RS-100-5 as well then, only weird thing is, some sites say its 80W, and some say it's 100W.
My hardware choice for now:

Solution (i am still working on this):
option1: put a HDfury DrHDMI right after out2 of AVR. you can set a profile in this device and the Sources will see 4K HDR and no HDCP problem. after DrHDMI you have HDR signal, which needs to be converted to SDR...for this you can use HDfury X4.
option2: HDFury DIVA....this device takes a HDMI source (actually it has 4 HDMI input), and spits 3 signal...4K HDR (goes to TV), 1080p SDR (goes to RPi), 1080p with full audio (can be hooked to a AVR, but you can ignore if you use this after AVR)
unfortunately whole setup cost a lot
Can't this be solved by now with this?

Hallo allemaal,

Groet,
Treecamp
