Vielen Dank für die ausführliche Antwort und die Lösung des Problems 😍 Echt genial wieviel Kompetenz in dem Thema hier vertreten ist.

Habe via Chat mit einem Händler über AliExpress nun eine Sk8612 12v mit 1 IC pro Led bestellt. Er schickt mir sogar direkt die benötigten 6m anstelle eines 5m und 1m Bandes, welches ich dann wieder zusammen löten müsste. Bei 83Zoll Buldschirm brauche ich halt leider knapp 6 Meter an Bandlänge.

Dann werde ich am Ende noch den Steifen mit dem Anfang verbinden, somit hätte ich dann ja die 2te Einspeisung vom Netzteil.

Wenn das neue Led Band angekommen ist, werde ich berichten ob alles läuft wie vorgesehen.

Die Farben leuchten im RGB Modus richtig bei den Testeffektrn etc. und auch mit einem Einspeisepunkt sind alle kräftig am Leuchten. Oder hat ein zweiter Einspeisungspunkte noch eine andere Bewandnis?

Nach dem Lösungsvorschlag von Ambient_theater77 klappt es auch wie es soll.

Adressierbar sind sie auch laut AliExpress und ebenfalls hab ich den Buffer über die cmd.txt/ config.txt gepasst.

Sorry, hätte ich direkt dazu schreiben können. Ich hab so viel schon dran rum gebastelt, da vergisst man so manche gemachten Einstellungen wieder

Mich würde nur interessieren, warum ich immer 3 LEDs am leuchten habe anstatt einer. So habe ich natürlich mit der Teilung durch 3 keine schöne Trennschärfe mehr und die 60 pro Meter sind eigentlich obsolet?

Servus und Hallo Community.

Ich musste leider aufgrund eines TV Updates mein wunderbar laufendes Ambilight ebenfalls updaten.

Die Hardware:

Raspberry Pi4 mit Hyperbain neu aufgesetzt

SK6812 Rgbw Leds, 336 Stück, 12V

12V Netzteil mit 60Watt

Feintech SP120 Splitter

Capture Card von Amazon, die hier überall beworbene kommt erst am Freitag um den Fehler ggf. auszumerzen.

Es läuft auch alles einwandfrei, Farben sind alle kräftig, Video Vorschau zeigt auch alles richtig an. Dennoch bin ich mit meinem Latein und dem studieren von Forenbeiträgen am Ende und bräuchte eure Hilfe.

Das Problem:

Die LEDs leuchten nicht an den Stellen wie sie in der Video Vorschau leuchten müssten.

Meine Einspeisung der Leds liegt unten in der Mitte des Fernsehers. Auch die Richtung hab ich korrekt angegeben.

Effekte Funktionieren einwandfrei.

LEDs sind mit Pin 9 (Grd) und Pin 19 (GPIO10) auf dem PI verbunden.

Habe schon die Richtung gewechselt, Horizontal und Vertikale Spiegelung gecheckt.

Bringt alles keine Besserung.

Als sei die Wiedergabe der Farben der Leds um 90 Grad gekippt?! Und an der Einspeisung machen die Farben nen harten Cut.

Hat das schonmal jemand gehabt und hat eine Lösung für mich parat?

Thx for the respond. True, all reviews are complaining about no real 4k or just not working properly.

I read your last setup and thought, i could test that too.

So i connected my Feintech Splitter to the AVRs HDMI Out 2 and connected the Grabber. Put the Feintech in 4k 60Hz mode, because without there was no video signal to find in the hyperbain. Now i got the Ambilight running, but all leds are just blue with no motion to the video.... new setup, new problems At least i can still watch films from my fire tv 4k max stick in 4k. Thats good progress.

Got a second grabber here, that i´m going to test right now.

Edit: second Grabber, same result... only blue leds... if i turn the resolution of the grabber to hull Hd.. the leds blink all 4 seconds with different colours...

i´m new here in the forum but i build my first ambilight years ago.

Now i updated my TV and AVR so unfortunally i have to update the Ambilight.

Im very glad and thankfull for all the testing you have done so far and hope you could help me out about my thoughts updating the ambilight.

Thinking about using my new Denon AVR X2700H and the second HDMI Out with a EDID HDR Emulator with Passthrough. In the Emulator I want to plug in the HDMI Video Grabber to the Raspberry Pi4. So that the AVR doesnt scale down the 4K signal from hdmi 1 to the tv.

My Setup so far with Hyperbain/ HyperionNG on my Raspberry Pi4 with the Feintech SP120 at HDMI 1 Out on my AVR. The used grabber works fine but the SK6812 Leds wont show the matching colours to the video... and they are turned in a 90 degrees angle and i cant find a solution to that....tried everything on the colours so far, nothing worked.

So i want to start everything over and reduce the costs by throwing out the Feintech and try it with a emulator stick.

Have you tried the combination I mentioned above with the emulator with passthrough and a video grabber?

Excuse my english, there is a chance, that there might be some mistakes.
