This looks like exactly what I've been curious about on my end, thanks for the explanation above! I'd love a little more detail on how you approached the LVDS connection. I'm not an electrical engineer, but a software engineer trying to create more of a "developer box" where I can have the mainboard of a TV running with a simple HDMI out to work on apps on the devices in a smaller form-factor on my desk.
From your first comment, you've got what looks like a UHD (4k) device, which makes me think it would be 2 LVDS cables with proprietary signals that a T-CON would properly route to the panel. I'm curious how you got that running to the linked LVDS Driver board. I imagine the answer is in the example diagram, but it's a little out of my knowledge level to read that.
