As currently it requires root access and LG TVs do not run Android the app cannot be downloaded from Google Play... but installation is easy, once you TV is hacked! There's no better solution available!
Just a little heads up, that PicCap, an Hyperion sender app is nearing a state where it is running flawlessly.
What does this mean: The sender-app is running directly on your LG TV, is grabbing the picture and is sending the info to Hyperion via flatbuffer.
No additional hardware required, no USB-grabbers, no HDFury Diva, no splitters. Dolby Vision: Sure! 120 Hz: Yes! Tone Mapping? Not needed!
Prerequisites: Hackable firmware on your LG OLED! Hopefully you did not update yours to the latest firmware. You need to root your TV

Bei mir läuft auf dem NAS Proxmox . Für den ganzen Kleinkram (Swag, Adguard, Hyperion, Bitwarden) habe ich eine VM mit Docker aufgesetzt, der Rest läuft in LXC oder VMs (OpenMediaVault, HomeAssistant, Plex, etc). HA und Plex gingen zwar auch im Docker, so sind die aber besser skalierbar und haben besseren Hardwarezugriff.
Hyperion im Docker ist 1a, du musst nur den USB-Grabber durchreichen, was sehr leicht geht. Da kannst du auch mit 50 Bildern pro Sekunde grabben und deinen Delay reduzieren. Wieso also einen separaten Raspi aufsetzen? Fertige Docker-Images gibt es bei Dockerhub 
Hi! Currently I‘m using my Hyperion setup with a Ligawo-Splitter and -Switch and the HDFury-Linker. Now I‘m trying to consolidate hardware and came across this rather new Matrix.
What are your thoughts? It supports HDMI 2.0, 4k60, HDR, CEC, HDCP2.2. Anything I‘m missing? Seems that it even supports downscaling to1080p.
