Guys I got it finally!!!! It was a Baudrate issue... I settled it at 500000 and problem is solved. Thx a lot for the patience, really!!!
-
You’re right and I’ve done it, some post ago I specify that it was a connection problem and when I solved it finally my leds light up and do the double blink check at startup. Assuming that, now what baudrate I can try to solve?
-
I've seen the thread, why are you showing it to me? Mines are apa102 should be the best but I can't understand what it mean with my issue
-
i setted it on bgr and other sequences too, but it's always the same. I'm using a 20a power supply but it seems to be a gnd issue
-
ground is connected to the Arduino properly. if I detach it they stop to blink and show solid false colors...
-
TPmodding Ambient_theater77 I had wrong connection and now leds are all on. The issue is that they are always blinking like a Christmas tree in wrong colors... following my debug log.
Please help me
-
The previous strip reported the same: apa102c printed on the strip.
It was an old lightberry strip led...
-
no i mean setting a static color at the hyperion webUI.
if the leds faulty then yes, if you have some rests, i would first try them, if those work then you know that your actual may have some issuesI suspect static color will not function but we'll see... Yes i have some rests i can use but i want to be sure what segment i should cut.
I've the doubt my leds aren't apa102 but sk9822, could be helpful to change the name inside the arduino sketch or it's the same thing? -
Are you meaning in fastled examples?
This evening i'll do 2 things: verify connections and this thing
TPmodding if the first 6 leds are faulty, i just need to cut them and redo the connections?
If it could help, this is the link to my led strip https://it.aliexpress.com/item…042311.0.0.164e4c4dzsCH0L

Well, sure it's just the death... anyway when i started the first light test in fastled examples, they all turn on showing a warm light through the tv.
There's something i can try to be sure leds are not the problem?
-
Thx for the time you dedicated to me. I copied your new sketch but the result is always the same unfortunately: just few leds on at the beginning of the led strip in solid color.
I saw you modified bgr with rgb, I’ve done the same in the Hyperion webui but nothing… it seems there’s something in the arduino communication that doesn’t work, but what?
I found an error in the debug log about the led, maybe could help to know what to do....
Anyway now leds are not recognized in the component status
-
Ok leds definitely function. I trained with first light test and all of leds function properly.
So I think there’s something in the sketch or in the Hyperion setting
TPmodding can you help me please?
-
Well I don't think it's a led strip problem cause inverting the pins on the Arduino it was all on but with not proper colors. So leds are ok
-
TPmodding i tryied blink sketch and just the first 6 leds blink alternates. The rest of the leds is turned off... following the sketch compiled I used for test, maybe I've done it wrong...
-
ok i got it. when i'll be at home i'll try and report...
-
are you meaning it? #define ANALOG_MODE_LAST_LED 1\
Should i config the sketch compiling a minus number of my real leds? Ex: the real number of my leds is 200, i set in the sketch for max 100 leds -
Shouldn't set my real led count to 200? Just a minus number like 100?
-
Really i don't know how to do it.
Can you please tell me how to do it, should i try one of the demos i can see in the fastled library in the arduino ide? -
I’ve done with no luck. Nothing appear. Meanwhile today I will add a new 5v - 20a power supply.
