Has anyone used the Lightberry HDMI Kit 5 with 4k, HDR and ARC?

Hey, does the ezcoo also convert the hcdp from 2.2 to 1.4 on the 1080p output? Or do u use a hcdp converter after that before going into the RCA converter and then in the USB grabber?
You do not need a HCDP converter according to the tutorials I have seen. 4k signal --> ezcoo--> 1080p to rca --> USB grabber.

Hi folks,
I'm in the process of purchasing a new TV. Obviously it will have 4k and HDR and I'd like to continue using my current Ambilight-setup for Full-HD. I guess it's the default setup: some HDMI-splitter, a HDMI-to-analoge converter, a analoge-to-USB grabber and that then feeds the Raspi. See image here: http://powerpi.de/wp-content/u…terne_quellen_powerpi.jpg
From what I get of the forum, I need to make sure the HDMI-to-analoge converter gets a FullHD SDR image. Hence the downscaling resolution-wise as well as HDR-to-SDR.
Is there any good hardware (available in Germany) that you can recommend?
While researching myself, I stumbled across this nifty piece of hardware: FeinTech VSP01202 HDMI 2.0 Splitter 1x2 mit 4K HDR Down-Scaler
It should be available soon and solve the problem of down-scaling and converting to SDR. What do you think?Cheers
I do not see HDR to SDR conversion mentioned anywhere.

I have a TCL R617 and PS4 Pro and I was thinking about attempting this project soon. I am hoping to find a solution that does not require me to buy Dreamscreen or HDFury products.
