das ist leider nicht möglich mit v1. Mit https://github.com/hyperion-project/hyperion.ng kann man sich den ledstream ausliefern lassen. Du kannst es ja mal auf einen Versuch ankommen lassen.

Ich muss das leider zurückstellen, (pre)alpha Kodi ist immer so eine Sache
Alle Kodi 17 alpha versionen haben zb nicht richtig funktioniert, weil die Kodi api Hyperion einfach nicht mitteilen wollte, was passiert. Ich schätze das wiederholt sich gerade.
Gerne kannst du darauf zurück kommen, wenn Kodi 18 die Beta erreicht.Grüße brindosch

as a workaround if you switch on smoothing and disable the continous output, you need to add this by hand, it's not available in hypercon.

the vchiq crash is known. A workaround is to use a systemd service that restarts autoamtically until this is fixed. For the gamma issues i need to investigate -

I would recommend to use "Install from zip" to resolve the protobuf dependency properly. (instead copy it to the kodi addon directory)

Never reached the stage of polishing so there was never a addon available in repo, sadly@thebatfink
I can't say much about this addon, as i never had my hands on it. Maybe @Wolph can tell you more details.
But i have doubts there can be done much for better performance. -
So, i will give some feedback
On Windows 7 64bit i get this in the following order with DX11:- Connected to Hyperion XYZ
With notifications set to error i get this: - After 10-15seconds: Error occured during capture: The object ref had no object instance (The second message part was german, this is a vague translation
DX9:- Worked

We currently consider to drop proto and replace it with a "custom" data stream.
