Of converter. Interne grabber zijn de ledjes mooi. Met externe grabber lichte flikkering.
heb jij idee?
-
Maybe then I need to score another pi just for hyperion. Pi 3b something like that.
and I tried several things but not the best result with the leds.
perhaps the usb grabber is working but not correctly
-
Is it better to have a rpi just for hyperion and a second one for kodi libreelec which I put in the splitter?
-
that is true buddy. and did you also put ypur rpi4 hdmi cable in your splitter? or do you have 2 rpi 1 for hyperion and 1 for hdmi splitter?
-
I am asking you because we have the same converter and grabber. I will try some changes
-
Yes I am there atm but do not know what I need to change
-
I already do this what you said. But maybe I need to set also other things. Could you sent me some screenshots please?
-
Okay maybe that could be hahaha. But now I think why you do not have that problem?
Did you also adjust colors and set other values for thresholds?

Flickering is a power problem.
How do you control the LEDs ? Directly from the Pi ?
If so did you add a resistor on the data line ? The Pi share the same ground as the LEDs ?I control the leds directly from the pi with jst connector. No ressistor and the pi is share the same ground as led I think.
With internal (dispmanx) grabber no flickering leds.
With usb grabber little flickering leds at black screens. I try with the 1080p converter and 2160
By the way the 2160 is less flicker and better colors then the other converter. -
With 1080 hdmi2av converter the colors where not like the 2160 converter. And more leds were flickering.
somebody any tip ?

I heard that it is working fine. But you never know. Maybe some shops have good one some shops not.

so you have a pi with hyperHDR on it? And then how you make the connection?
hyperhdr is the lite version of raspbian. That is pure for hyperion. So how looks your connections
-
You could turn off the usb capture. At the remote control page.
also on the main page you can turn off the whole system.
-
I have the same HDMI grabber, and it had a 0.5sec latency too even on a Pi4.
I managed to fix this by reducing it's resolution and decimation in the config page.
Works like a charm nowCould you show usb what we need to change for this?
-
Could you show me your usb grabber? The link is not working.
many thanks
-
Very nice buddy!

Still the same little flickering leds. So probably the 2160 converter is too much I think.
and also if I switch to internal grabber of the pi for 1080 content the tv goed to NO SIGNAL.
You have any idea why? Maybe because the pi is connected to the splitter and not direct to the tv?
